Last week I had a look at what was happening in Scotland, so I thought that this week we'd have a look at some Brit Grit from Ireland.

Adrian McKinty is one of the best crime writers out there and his last novel, The Cold Cold Ground, was deservedly well praised.

Well, if you pop over to his blog, you can read the first eight chapters of the sequel to that book, I Hear The Sirens In The Street. 


The Cold Cold Ground has, at long last, found a publisher in the US so grab it as soon as you can.

Gerard Brennan, author of The Point and Wee Rockets, has shown just how horrific he can be with his latest publication. Possession, Obsession and  a Diesel Compression Engine is a collection of short, horror stories and is as cheap as chips.
