Now then, now then! Near To The Knuckle is a cracking crime fiction ezine that really is well worth checking out. It currently has a couple of beaut, sharp, slices of flash fiction online  from Brit Grit stars-in-the-making Chris Leek -Used Cars-  and Gareth Spark - Coming Through The Dark.  And now the people behind Near To The Knuckle are also getting an anthology together. Submissions are now open and you can find out more information here.

Caffeine Nights are the  very cool indie publishers who have already put out some top novels from the likes of Ian Ayris, R C Bridgestock, Nick Quantrill and Nick Triplow. Well, they've recently signed a couple more hot new writers: Pete Sortwell - So Low, So High- and Ruth Jacobs - Soul Destruction. Looking forward to both of those books.

 

Cathi Unsworth is a deservedly well regarded crime writer and her new novel Weirdo looks to be a  corker. I had a natter with her over at my gaff.
