What busy lives we lead. My new novel
Android Love, Human Skin is out. It is a novel about four genders. I don’t
think that has been done before. It explores the nature of gender conflict and
the addiction to pleasure in a virtual world. This novel is
about a possible future.
Here’s the scenario: society has been
revolutionised by gendered control and the technologisation of man and woman.
In a future where a biochemical weapon has removed the skins of the population,
the rulers hunt for the beautiful ones, those men and women who have skins.
They are offered four types of robot with which to have relationships.
‘She
looked beautiful in her lime green dress, the gynoid setting out the dinner
plates, readying the evening for pleasure. She even looked like she had skin to
Joey as he looked at her in the soft light. He wanted to touch her face, but
waiting was nice. … She had brunette hair, just the way he liked it, real hair,
with that lustre, that light, a full mouth, small tight buttocks, good tits,
and a pair of sparkling green eyes. Tammy the gynoid was just what he wanted
for dinner.’
